Spring is in the Air and Why Do I Paint

"BugEye" at the Curb Yellow at Healdsburg Avenue
Why Do I paint? I paint because I must, there is so little time and so much beauty around me. I want the world to see what I see, the beauty in the ordinary scenes of life. The definition of beauty is a combination of qualities, such as shape, color, or form, that pleases the aesthetic senses. As an artist being able to convey this in my art gives me such a high. I'm glad to be alive and doing what I love, "painting".
